I am a licensed psychologist with over 10 years of experience working in psychiatry. At Terapiatalo Sointu, I offer individual psychological consultations, therapeutic interventions and psychological assessments.
I graduated as a psychologist in 2013 and am currently undergoing specialized training in clinical mental health psychology (2022-2025). I have extensive experience in both hospital and outpatient settings, currently working full-time at HUS. My expertise includes various emotion regulation difficulties (e.g., dialectical behavior therapy), substance use disorders, addictions, as well as severe mental health disorders such as psychoses and personality disorders.
As a psychologist, I am empathetic and approachable. My approach is simultaneously active and attentive.
In my practice, I aim to provide both a sense of being heard and understood, as well as practical solutions for managing symptoms and coping with everyday challenges. I primarily utilize conversation and client interviews in my work. Depending on the situation, I employ selected assessment and research methods during psychological evaluations.
