I am a psychodynamic psychotherapist with a background in psychology. The goal of psychotherapeutic treatment is to create a safe and confidential environment where we can address even the most difficult issues at the individual’s own pace. As a therapist I am fairly active, but I prioritize allowing the client the freedom to take space and reflect calmly on whatever is on their mind at any given moment.

The therapy process begins with introductory sessions where we discuss your situation and your wishes regarding therapy. We also explore the theoretical framework and my approach and discuss whether it feels suitable for you. Sessions are based on open conversation, aiming to explore your thoughts and feelings. In psychodynamic psychotherapy, a key goal is always to increase self-understanding and achieve psychological integration. Typically, sessions occur twice a week.
